How do new users bypass the full registration process?¶

We highly recommend that new site registrants go through the full registration process at all times for security purposes and to help you to obtain as much additional information about them as possible.
However, there may be occasions where it's a member of staff or someone you know really well whom you would simply like to hand over their log in details immediately. In these situations, you can add them onto the database manually (if they do not already exist) and provide them with their log in details (their email address and a temporary password that you have created). See How do I add new user record(s) onto my online community? for more information. ** This means that the new user can simply enter the login details that you have given them (as opposed to clicking **Register) although they will still be shown the registration page upon logging on.
Some clients would prefer that all new users are given immediate access without having to see the registration page at all. If you would also like to take this approach, you can do so by following the instructions below:
Go to Admin tools > Customise your Site > View site wizard.
Click the Privacy, Access, and Visibility tab (highlighted below).
Click Don't force new users to complete registration fields link, a checkbox will display.
Select checkbox and click Update to save your changes.
